Creativity in process is arriving at the solution in a new way; the customer requirements and what you promised can be delivered must still be achieved.

When people do not achieve the determined objectives; and say “We are creative”

It makes me insane!

Creativity is NOT an excuse for a shitty outcome.

Achieving the goal while remaining within the guidelines in a way that is unique to them and others then that is creative.

NOT achieving the goal is FAILURE.

When you go to a restaurant and order and entrée, and it comes to you NOT AT ALL LIKE THE DESCRIPTION…would you take the “I’m creative” excuse from your chef?

When you order something on-line from a photo and what arrives is NOTHING LIKE WHAT YOU ORDERED….would you accept “We’re creative” as a reason…

Creativity is NOT an excuse for poor performance and not achieving the task.
