The balance of Enthusiasm, Competence, and Passion have nature and nurture components.
How you balance and use/illustrate your Enthusiasm, Competence, and Passion in work and how your work system is set up to allow you to be enthusiastic, competent, and passionate about what you do can be a struggle.
My argument is that the System you work in has a more significant force than your internal drive within your work environment.
Once, as a manager, you see the lack of enthusiasm (being apathy), Competence (being incompetence, and Passion (being excessive skepticism) – look at how the work is being done and who is on your team.
