All of this Team Process and Skills takes work and that one asshole who joins the team can throw everything off.

Finding solutions and acknowledging problems then planning steps to solve the problems are what great people on teams do. Which brings us to this weeks inquiry.

Questions I ask the people on the team prior to meeting with them. OR sometimes I ask the question in a team meeting – I do what I want because I lead the show. You do what you want because, well I am not the boss of you.

As a Work Team

Below are question about the TEAM. In the following responses think your functional work team.

The Goal for the project was clearly defined and understood by myself and the others on the team? Goal defined as “what-by-when” meaning what was going to be completed and by when – a time deadline.

These questions will supply you with an idea of how to improve the team, and once the team is “one step higher on the same scale” you can identify what brought you there.

These steps will improve production and speed of work completion, BUT you have to ask and take action to move the team into action.
