Team Building activity that requires planning, communication and action. The team is challenged with creating a complex plan that is seperate from where the work takes place. Then as the team encounters the work, adjustments and changes must be made for success.

The interaction between team members and sharing of skill sets reinforces positive beliefs and knowledge we have about ourselves and other people. Too often teams NEVER share and discuss the good skills and talents they possess. Hard Skill, Soft Skill – provides individuals with the opportunity to recognize and be recognized for their skill sets and talents.

BOTENGA–Bottle Jenga; Team Building Activity

Creation of this activity stemmed from a repeat program with a middle school group. The focus was on developing resiliency in the students and preparing them for the 9th grade transition. Have not tried Botenga with a Corporate/Adult team building group yet; and not sure if I will.

DiSC Team Building learning activity DiSC Box

The task objective is for groups on the opposite sides to exchange places, with no errors (violations, variations, defects, etc…) in the shortest time possible – while only stepping on the carpet squares when inside the DiSC Box.
The secondary objective is to highlight and reinforce what was learned using the DiSC and how it can be applied / transferred into their lives, teams, organizations, communities.
Engaging people and the team in a situational environment where they are asked to observe their own behaviors and preferences as well as those of the peers.
Connecting the content of a DiSC program to an applicable situation where people can experience, reflect, and process how the team and individuals affect those they work with.
