The cooperation loop is a mindset of working to find cooperation…any size large and small and develop practice of building from that cooperation.
I argue that it works way better than the resistance loop and the results are greater for everyone.
The Current Method / Better Way Matrix is a team tool that can stretch peoples minds and assumptions to Enable Innovation and create a comfort level that allows for breakthrough ideas to happen.
One challenge of project and and team work is deciding when we are done.
If more than 1 person is Responsible for completing the goal, they all have valid arguments, they all are doing what they should be doing….and the because they all are Responsible for the outcome and want to do their best work it causes role confusion.
This may be fixed, somewhat resolved, if we have a single Responsible person…and that Single Responsible person, if confused, had access to the project manager for clarity on the goal.
You have been a meeting zombie, I have been a meeting zombie…We both are guilty of spreading the Zombie virus to others in the meeting room.
How can this be avoided?

Any manager has the ability to make work a joy or miserable. If your manager is great perhaps you are on a project team and that project manager has the ability to make you feel great and want to do more or make you want to stop everything and do as little as possible.

Creating a space for team members to discuss what success will look like, how to get there and creating a deliberate plan to capture what went right, the team purposefully shares knowledge and skills when it can be best used – AT THE START.
Organizations don’t hire teams, don’t fire teams, and can only provide feedback based upon the work of the individual and how they contributed to the team goal.
