It was a great 2 days of consulting & team development, plus being in the Middle East was an amazing experience. The team leaders & managers of Zain Telecommunications impressed me with their knowledge, ability to find connections of the team building with their work, plus ability to laugh while taking themselves seriously.
This sycophantic praise of leadership creating straw man arguments that only the ubermensch can fulfill, causes unfulfilled desire to emulate the few who were lucky, or born with privilege or amassed success.
The notion that a team can define accountability & authority means that they know the outcome before it happens & have removed all ambiguity, judgment, innovation & human interaction from the work. That to me sounds like a robot path to disengagement.

A value proposition is a brief statement of how people who do business with you are better off from your services.
Young start up organizations the leader drives the company. Mature developed organizations the company drives the leader.
If you are finding that people don’t know how to do what they are supposed to do & they went through training & development. Evaluate the training they received to ensure that it matches what they are supposed to do.
Failure occurs. Challenges appear un-navigable. Comfort is minimal. Learning happens when psychological safety + accountability are high.
