I haven’t shared a Team Building Agenda posts in a while. Below is a program created for ~50 Campus Living College Staff, varying from Executive Directors to Managers to Student Life Staff.
Currently I’m Teaching a High Performance Team Building Professional Development Program for the University at Buffalo, NY.

Sky Bottle Commander.
Team Building activity that requires planning, communication and action. The team is challenged with creating a complex plan that is seperate from where the work takes place. Then as the team encounters the work, adjustments and changes must be made for success.
This team building activity is meant to model the challenges of planning and being flexible enough to change as needed.
One epistemic belief I hold about managerial leadership with hierarchical organizations is that small changes in skill effect large results in the organization. Additionally that this is greater the higher you are on the managerial leadership ladder; AND that change in skill at any level creates large effects up and down the chain of accountability.
Solving problems and reaching solutions within parameters defined. Exploring the boundaries of personal cognition, patience and resiliency.
Trust happens before goals are clarified, not established. The team members and leadership know the goals and accountabilities before the project team is established. Understanding of the goals and objectives is what the team leader uses to create the roles and tasks of the project team.
