I will be presenting 2 workshops at the ASQ Buffalo 2013 Quality Conference – October 15 & 16.
Innovation is a repeatable system-that-drives behavior in people, that are goal driven (by a Manager, themselves, or a customer), to fix an existing problem OR to fix an hypothesized future problem.
Much of my work with Innovation stems from organizations, teams, as well as individuals taking what they already know and allowing themselves to make small adjustments towards new and improved products, processes and services.

Examining the Main Useful Function will solve problems and break psychological inertia that comes from not knowing. Once people, organizations, leadership can chart and explain the Main Useful Function of what they do, to those they do it too-then insights into innovation and improvement can be made.
Using a mixture of TRIZ, creative problem solving and brain based leadership models, the participants find solutions to existing organizational situations. The workshop is highly interactive and learner centered.
