DiSC Team Building Activity; Used to flex the C-Conscientiousness Preference.
For participants to experience a C–Conscientious type culture. In this activity all people are asked to use their Conscientious behavior focusing on quality and accuracy. Getting things done right the first time.
Sometimes coaching is forced on an employee by their manager because they are having a tough time with a new position or their existing manager just does not know what to-do, and many other reasons.
Okay, when that happens what do you do as an executive coach?
Leadership is being competent in doing your work. Leadership is establishing a team that follows the vision and work enthusiastically and cooperatively.
If you are NOT COMPETENT in your work…no-one will see you as a ‘good-leader’. This happens wherever you may fall in the managerial hierarchy.
Organizations that lack an understanding and sense of accountability, make employees feel like they are being asked to swim world record times in a pool of Jello. Everyone is trying really hard BUT the system-of-work is forcing them to push harder and gain little progress.

Developing steps to identify what you want to happen, as opposed to what you don’t want to happen can seem to simple. And, if we begin to identify what we want to have happen, using language that describes the solution – a different use of the language is created within teams.
In meetings people often know what others are going to say, this is stronger with long-standing work relationships.
Using DiSC for team development has its application. Creating a shared language for team behaviors then exploring the system-that-drives those behaviors increases team effectiveness. DiSC Perception can be the catalyst to that team development.
